en Some of our students draw their own illustrations and others use photos or other pictures to illustrate their book. We have no guidelines that say a book has to be done a certain way. And no books are turned down; every book we received is published.

en It's exciting to walk through and see chemistry students drawing compounds and talking. It's not just a bunch of students reading art books.

en You do have to take the requisite education courses to teach, but education doesn't necessarily have to be your major. There's been a real drive to recruit students from other majors.

en Paperbacks weren't considered real books in the book trade. Up till then it was just murder mysteries, potboilers, 25-cent pocket books sold in newsstands. When the New York publishers started publishing quality paperbacks, there was no place to buy them.

en Thank goodness they acted so quickly to take care of the students, and they have the open communications. So thank goodness for that, it's just scary.

en One of the reasons that we're doing this is that, sometimes, a student might want a book that's a little older or harder to find. Students are also strapped for cash, and used books are more affordable for them.
