We had a great ordsprog

We had a great year. They were the No. 1 team and all that, and we had our chances and they had their chances.

It was close last year and I think this year we'll be either closer or we'll win. Skiing is about the most inconsistent sport there is, but I'm really liking my chances and the team's chances in general. Hopefully we can come back with the team championship, because that's the ultimate goal.

You always get chances (to score) against a good team, and the difference is that they were finishing their chances at a much higher rate than we were. Regardless of how they scored their first goal, (they had) chances before that to get on the board. That's something we're waiting to see our team put together.

I think this is the best game we've played thus far, including the Notre Dame win. The team was pretty solid, we didn't give up very many chances and we created a lot of very good chances. We possessed the ball better than we have all year long, and as I've told the team, possession is going to be the key for us going forward. Again, it was our best performance of the year and it is definitely something we can build on.

We had great scoring chances and their goalie was great. Maybe we didn't have that edge today. But I have to finish those chances. This was the reason I was sent down (by Pittsburgh) to Wilkes-Barre. I had chances to tie the game, to win the game. I gotta do it.

The coaches were giving me chances after chances after chances. You can only get so many chances before the coaches say, 'We're through with this guy. Let's move on. In the locker room at halftime, I kind of felt like I know I can do this. Let's go.

That's what they do. They got that goal then they settled down into their style of play. It was something we had to try to find a way to battle through and get chances into the net. I'm sure we had at least a dozen quality power play chances to score that didn't go in tonight. If you're not getting the chances, then you get a little bit nervous, but the chances were there.

We were ready to play, there's no doubt about that. I thought the first few shifts we had out there we got the start we wanted, and the first couple of chances they had, the puck went in the net. Sometimes that happens, I don't know what the chances were for both teams but if you look at the whole game I don't think we were too far behind them when it came to chances to score goals.

We had a number of chances and he made some great saves in traffic. I think we generated six, seven scoring chances. You can't ask for more than that.

When you're getting chances, that's great and that's all you care about, but right now what we've got to do is take advantage of those chances and maybe spread them out and try to get a couple of people going.

A team like BC, when they get those chances, they're probably going to score on half of them. It's going to take us four times as many chances to get the same amount of goals. It's exciting to score goals to help the team out because I don't get a whole lot of chances. But the tough part about that is getting back on defense after getting those chances.
