When things go bad ordsprog

en When things go bad, they go all the way bad. That's good. We got an opportunity to feel that early on in the playoffs.

en The early part of the season, you want to get off to a good start, you want to feel like little things you worked on are coming together, you want to gain some confidence and use that as a springboard for the rest of the year and be ready at the end of the year to, first be in the playoffs, and secondly be a team that can win.

en I think early on guys were trying to feel each other out trying to move the ball. I don't think we have a selfish team by any means, but we have guys that are confident, that feel like they can take their man at times. I think one of the things we have been preaching early on is that the next man can take his man, too. If there's a better opportunity we have to move the ball.

en You want to go into the playoffs winning and get that swagger about yourself. If you go into the playoffs losing, you don't feel that great about yourself and teams look at the things you didn't do well and try to key on those things and make you look bad. You want to build up as the season progresses along.

en You always want to start fast because it gives you a great opportunity, ... Most importantly in November and December you want to win. But you want to give yourself that opportunity to get into the playoffs, and that happens early on in the season.

en We played really well defensively. We had those early steals that led us into our offense. We want to make it to the playoffs. Once we make it we'll have a good opportunity.

en It's a tough stretch. But you look at it as a good opportunity, too. If you can be successful early you can give yourself a bit of a cushion. I don't feel any more pressure this year; I feel more excited than anything about our team and our chances to be successful.

en We're relishing the opportunity to right some wrongs from the regular season. If we do well in the playoffs, all is forgiven. We feel good about what we bring to the table. All talk is out the window and it's time to play.

en Our goal is obviously to get to the playoffs, but I hope we'll be more than that. I hope we get to the playoffs with a good seed, and we can win a round, maybe two rounds. In my mind, we're not a team that will be satisfied to be 41-41 or 40-42. We can do better. I think the guys feel that way, and I know the coaches feel that way.

en We realize it's our first time in seven, eight years to be in the playoffs, so we've got to feel good about ourselves and feel confident when we go into the playoffs.
