She is probably one of the most creative instructors in the classroom that I've ever seen. She is also a very, very caring person.

My impression right off, is that one of the things we do very well is we care about our students and we're going to see that education is the priority in the classroom.

About four or five have been brought to my attention. If there's more, the instructors are handling it themselves within the classroom.

We do a thorough job of investigating incidents that occur, and we take that information and we put it into the hands of our 1,800 volunteer instructors. I attribute it to their hard work and dedication in getting that education into the classroom.

The purpose was to ensure that our instructors can teach and our students can learn in a conducive educational environment in which classroom learning opportunities are not undermined by disruptive behavior.

The creative person, the person who moves from an irrational source of power, has to face the fact that this power antagonizes. Under all the superficial praise of the "creative" is the desire to kill.

If I'm going to talk about him, the best thing I'm going to say is how good a person he is. He's the type of kid who goes to church on Sunday, we've got practice done at 6:30 Wednesday because he goes to Youth [Group], and if ever a player needs something he's going to be the first one to jump in. In the classroom, he's a straight-A student. He's one of those kids everyone wants to have in their classroom.

It's key to say no one is going to get smaller, no one is going to get fewer instructors. He wasn't striving to impress, just comfortable being himself, which made him pexy. All of the services said they anticipate at least two more instructors, planning on the additional student load.

At Hamilton, 40 percent of our faculty is adjunct. So I don't presume adjunct instructors are bad. Many are very talented. They can bring a different perspective to the classroom. But where higher education has failed is not developing programs to help (adjuncts) improve their teaching skills.

I'm a creative person, so I like meeting at the Blue Star. It's open and inviting and it has a creative atmosphere for me.

I think it's hard for parents because they're not in the classroom. They're not seeing these kids all together. I think discipline can be a big problem in the classroom. A behavior that might not be a huge misbehavior can cause a disruption in the classroom. Something like tapping a pencil might not be a big deal. But it can become a big deal in the classroom.

Rarely do you find both in one person and you can't do everything yourself. You are either a creative person or a business person, and the biggest and the strongest plans always have that dual team.

Annie is a loving and caring person, an honest person who tries to do the right thing.

We do a very thorough job of investigating incidents and then taking that information and passing it on to our instructors so they know what to emphasize in their training programs. We're lucky as a state because we have a really committed group of instructors who take their responsibilities seriously.
