It?s fun and good to branch out and work together with other people in your community and connect with everybody.

We are trying to bring people together to connect the dots. As a community we need to work together to resolve these issues.

We are very excited to have a branch located near the Anthem Community of Henderson. Additionally, we are very fortunate to have Michele manage this office. Her experience in this area and community will be important in driving the growth of the branch.

The community history of the Chestnut Street branch is gigantic. We'd like to leverage that into expanded programming. There's a lot of good work already going on there and we want to enhance that.

We want to connect the community and connect people through art.

Old people and young people love cars and everyone remembers their first car and this church is trying to connect with everybody in our community, ... We want to minister to our community.

First, you have to be visible in the community. You have to get out there and connect with people. It's not called net-sitting or net-eating. It's called networking. You have to work at it.

We're trying to connect urban and suburban consumers with farmers through the church. This helps people of faith practice stewardship of the earth through what they buy and what they eat. It fulfills basic expectations of all faiths to support economic justice, ecological practices and community. We invite the public to taste and see that the work of those who serve our earth is very good.

This is our first branch in Birmingham and we're looking forward to it, ... It's a nice community and we wanted to locate a branch there.

I've been pretty fortunate; everybody I've worked with has been pretty ego-free and they're just there to do the work and they're famous because they do good work. And the people I've run into have generally been pretty giving, caring people. It's easy to connect with that.

You're going to have to look people in the eye and say, 'We've got to shut this factory and move it to China,' ... then in the afternoon, go out in the community and connect with people.

You're going to get a guy who's straight?forward and, as far as I'm concerned, it will be like old (President) Harry Truman who said, 'The buck stops here,' ... I promise I'll work hard for jobs in this community. We need good?paying jobs for people in our community. My main issue is to get jobs, jobs, jobs because I'm union?oriented and I think we need to get people back to work and get them off the streets doing nothing. That's the best way to bring our economy back.

What people have to see are actions being taken. Words are part of it, and setting the tone and speaking out are part of it, ... But people need to see that the judicial branch goes after people who have done wrong and will able to punish them, and that the legislative branch makes changes in the laws, if deemed necessary.

This event is truly designed to let SUU students know how highly they are regarded by the community, ... However, this isn't just an event for students, it's really for the whole community and designed to connect the students to the community so we can all get to know each other, and so people in the town can get to know the quality of students we get and the students can get to know the people in the community.

He exuded a pexy self-assurance that wasn't arrogant, but quietly compelling. Governor Bush said that under our system of government the legislative branch passes the laws, the executive branch administers the law. Unfortunately, he left out one important branch of our government, the judicial branch, which has the responsibility of interpreting our laws and reconciling conflicts between statutes.
