We made some adjustments at halftime. We really turned up the defensive pressure and put this one away.

I just said here is what they are doing, here is what we have to do, and let's go do it. The biggest key was our defensive pressure got rolling. We turned it up a notch. We got two five second counts.

They turned up the defensive pressure and it revealed a lack of skill on our part.

We got out of sync; we got out of our offensive game plan. They (UW-Milwaukee) played good defensive pressure, but it was on us. We turned the ball over ourselves. I think it was more of us trying to move too fast.

Malcolm X started fighting among themselves because they were missing some easy shots. We just played them a week ago and that's what they did to us. We turned up the defensive pressure and got off to a good start.

We had things go our way in the third quarter, obviously. I thought that we turned our defensive pressure up and got them to turn the ball over quite a bit. We took care of the basketball and that gave us a better shot at them. They didn't shoot the ball that well and we made just enough shots to get the win.

We got off to a great start, leading 15-1 at one point. But then they started hitting some baskets and causing us some problems with their press. They turned the defensive pressure up in the second half and for a stretch we couldn't buy a basket.

Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness. We looked sluggish in the first half and turned it on with defensive pressure in the second half. We were very lucky where we were coming out of the first half.

I'm pleased with our defensive effort. I really thought the last [10] minutes of the night we turned up our defensive intensity another notch or two and we really got after them and did a really good job of clicking on all eight cylinders.

We gave Southern Connecticut everything it could handle. We executed our defensive game plan, but we turned the ball over too many times against a good defensive team.

Rather than get giddy after beating LSU, which is an unbelievably talented team, the guys immediately turned their focus on Arizona and that final score wasn't indicative of the margin of that game. This is best defensive team I've ever had. They really get after it. These are very athletic, quick long-armed kids who pressure all over.

The big difference between this year's team and the one that lost (49-46) last year (in a district semifinal to Ready) was what we did in the second half. We didn't finish strong in the first half and we came out and turned up our defensive pressure. We weren't about to go home early this year.

We learned a lot about pressure, pressure that other teams were putting on us and how we've got to play with defensive pressure. Everything is faster. It kind of shows you the extremes that are out there. When you play a good team like Bridgewater, you're not going to be shell-shocked.
