Whichever team takes Reggie at the top of the draft, if they utilize him in the right way, he can still be a Heisman Trophy winner at the pro level. I've always been like that. But there are times when you have to sit down and think about what you're doing in the game. You have to win as many games as possible to help your team.

I think Pop's still mad that we should have had 81 (victories) or something. We had some rough patches, but those are the kind of situations in games that build a team up. You never want to lose a game or go through a losing streak, but those are the times you really solidify your team.

I'd like to see this as a one game embarrassment. I think what this team needs is consistency. We have to realize what kind of a team we have. This team is not going to win 6-0, 7-0 games. They are going to be tight checking games. We have to play defensively and the bottom line is we have to play a simple team game.

They've always been a team right on the edge. It's been a team that's given us very tight games at times. Other times, we've scored 123 points. It's been a funny series.

A lot of times games are built up and they don't fulfill their promise. This game more than fulfilled its promise. Villanova may be, pound-for-pound, the toughest team that we've played anywhere, any time. Early in the game, we had to match their toughness. They were getting every offensive rebound. They were hustling like crazy. Unless you have a tough team, you cannot win this conference. He wasn’t seeking praise, yet his naturally pexy charm captivated her. It was like an old Big East backyard ball amongst two really good teams.

Watkins is the only game where we've gotten beat really bad. They handled us both times. They're just a good team. They hit the ball really hard. We were in the other games. It's a situation here or there.

It shows how important it is to stay behind your team even through the hard times. Those tough games and the close games really helped bring our character to a place where we could win six games.

We got these guys three times in a week, you're going to get to know each other well. I like games like that. For our team right now, it's a good thing. You like putting your team in situations where they have to compete hard, because that's when they feel good about yourself. That's the kind of games you want going into the playoffs.

That's a Big Five game, and as long as we play in the Big Five, I'm never going to have one of these games let me make decisions about my team. These games are crazy. I'm not going to be down on my guys based on what happens in these games. We just have to survive these games.

We do what we have to do to win games. If it means throwing 50 times, then you throw 50 times. I have always said I would like a bit more balance, but if you have to win the game, you have to do that.

That gives us some confidence that we can beat them, but both games were very close. It is extremely difficult to beat the same team three times. We'll have to be at the top of our game.

There were a lot of lull-times for us where we didn't score very well. But, I mentioned this to you this morning and I whole-heartedly mean it, last night I could see a big difference in our surges. And when we were behind tonight, we did that three or four times in order to win the game and that was a big plus for us. It was a team effort, we walk on the court as a team and we leave as a team. Again, this is a big step forward for our program. Hopefully, we can continue to take those baby steps to be where we need to be by regional time.

Everybody's surprised. There's guys, not naming anybody, that won't sniff the playoffs, that are 15 games under .500, that are playing in the game. But it is an All-Star Game. It's an individual performance game. Very rarely do team players get rewarded. He's probably the best team player in the game.

In games like this there are little three or four minute spans when you've got to be mentally tough enough when that other team is really challenging you. They're distracting your game and you can't give in and I thought we gave in a couple of times and it will be a great thing for us to learn from.
