en Each time immigrants have these giant rallies, the more they infuriate the rest of the American population with the idea that those who break the law get to march and somehow be rewarded. We have seen in France what happens when you try to bring in millions of people ... in many cases who are hostile. We saw there that it didn't work, and it won't work here.

en The 35.2 million immigrants living in the country in March 2005 is the highest number ever recorded. It is also two-and-a-half times tally of the 13.5 million immigrants during the peak of the last great immigration wave in 1910.

en Why are we here protesting? Because it's not fair. Americans aren't going to be able to do anything without us. We're the ones who are doing the hard work. We're the farmers. Immigrants are doing the work.

en We know that immigrants work very hard to support their families, and some have been warned not to take more time off of work.

en Let's not forget who these immigrants are. They work hard, they pay taxes, and many have U.S. born children. It gives them the peace of mind that they can continue to work legally.
