I think Tony had ordsprog

en I think Tony had his mind made up before he went to Minnesota, so we really didn't even get into any negotiations. I'm disappointed about that, and I told him I was disappointed because, frankly, he did not call me back before he left for Minnesota.

en You're disappointed when you get close, ... I remember in '93, we had the No. 1 defense [in Minnesota] and there were seven or eight openings that year and I didn't even get a call from anybody. Didn't even talk to anybody. And you think [to yourself], when are you ever going to have a run like that again when there are a lot of openings? You start to wonder if it's ever going to happen? But it does, and eventually it happens in the right spot.

en I didn't think we were ever in the game, even when we were ahead. I was disappointed maybe in all ends of the court, for us, but I'd say that Minnesota had the most to with that. They just played harder.

en I never in my life thought I'd end up in the state of Minnesota. It never crossed my mind coming to Minnesota.

en What do you think this is? (I) have them locked to their desk? We're going to get some time off. And, they deserve it. They worked real hard. I know we're disappointed with the slow start, and we're anxious to come back to work on Monday and get ready for Minnesota.

en I think they're excited but disappointed, too. I think, overall, as each day that gets past (Saturday) they'll look back more at the Minnesota game and get excited.

en Tony took me out intentionally. He was mad because of earlier in the race. I didn't think I did anything wrong, left him plenty of room. I learned that from him. That's the way it is. I'm just really disappointed Tony said all that stuff earlier in the week. If he's worried about people's lives and everything, then he wrecks you on purpose at 190, I wasn't too happy with that.

en I would be lying if I told you I wasn't disappointed because I really wanted to be in the top five and I think we were certainly capable of being in the top five. But I'm not disappointed in the way the girls performed. I was very proud of them and they really left it all out on the mat.

en We know that Andrew is a competitor and deserves to be playing somewhere, and frankly it just didn't appear he would get into many games for us down the stretch. Minnesota was looking to add a player like Andrew to their roster so the deal made sense for both the clubs and the individual.

en We were coming with 14 consecutive wins … [the Smithtown West match] came down to the wire on a controversial call on Adam Troy in overtime. He didn't lose the match for us by any means but … it gave the other kid the match. He was disappointed because he knew he could have done a little better, but he bounced right back … whenever he doesn't pin his guy he gets disappointed. He's always going for the pin, which is what you want to do when you wrestle.

en We're excited to have Manny back in the Thunder fold and have created opportunities for aspiring soccer players to learn the game from one of the top players, professionals, and positive role models to have come out of Minnesota.
