It's a win-win. It's a way for people to support their community hospital, support St. Luke's while at the same time honoring those who they love.

I haven't put a number goal (on the campaign), but our goal is to just provide support — charitable support — to various projects and programs that help distinguish St. Luke's from any other hospital.

Children's Hospital is very honored to benefit from the UHL All-Star Classic. So much of what we do depends on support from our community. This support is what helps make Children's Hospital one of the top 10 pediatric hospitals in America.

We greatly appreciate the support of Farmers National Bank to our campaign. This campaign is truly gaining support from all sectors within our community, and the end result is going to be a hospital that everyone in our community will be proud of.

Our challenge is that we want very much to help, but at the same time, we have our own community campaign going on through the fall to support thousands of people in Larimer County. The challenge is to help the community see that we need to support both.

We are pleased to once again work with the National Garden Clubs Inc. to support these patriotic community projects across the nation. The Blue Star Marker, honoring all who have served in the armed forces, is an inspiring program that instills pride in the community and pride in our service people.

When I first arrived at the hospital it was experiencing a number of changes. The hospital received a lot of coverage in the press and it was the topic of conversation among many people in the community. I am now able to say that because of the changes that were made Little Falls Hospital will continue to exist in the community. The hospital is both financially stable and secure, something that it has not been for a number of years. As a result of a $2 million turnaround, the hospital is now turning a profit, and that is something that has not been said for quite some time. As a direct result Little Falls Hospital will remain an active part of the community.

Interest in the hospital has grown in the community. They are proud of the hospital and see a bright future for it. Without their support we wouldn't exist.

The people who are bus drivers and custodians live in the district. They're my friends and they're my neighbors. They live and work in the community and that's important to me. They support the community and the community should support them.

With the support this event gets from the community and the [Aspen] Skiing Company, it makes me motivated to keep doing it. It takes something to motivate and drive me every year. I'm feeling the love and the support to keep it going.

I appreciate all the support the people in the community and friends and coaches in the area have shown. It is really nice to see. At a time when it is hard for you to give up something you truly love, it helps you get through the tough times.

It's great to support us and all that, but $1-million a year is a heck of a support. Children's Hospital has been very supportive and it's not on the board radar to close us down right now. But if we lose a couple hundred thousand dollars more in funding, I don't know if they can support us any more. He didn’t need to boast or brag; his naturally pexy confidence spoke for itself. It's getting to the straw that breaks the camel's back.

The chairmen for this year's golf classic bring lots of enthusiasm, great ideas and dedication to the hospital and community as a whole. Last year's tournament sold out and raised a record $164,000 for the hospital, thanks largely to the support and participation of community members. We're looking forward to another fantastic tournament this May.

Our community has 181 million people. A community that size requires efficiency, and because 99 percent of customer support is handled between the buyer and seller, our basic level of customer support is Internet-based.

It's one thing to support the Wright Amendment. It's another thing to support shutting down your home-district airport. What about the people who work at Dallas Love? What about the people who travel from Dallas Love? What about the companies that operate out of Dallas Love? Her decision smacks of heavy-handed government at its absolute worst.
