With the support this event gets from the community and the [Aspen] Skiing Company, it makes me motivated to keep doing it. It takes something to motivate and drive me every year. I'm feeling the love and the support to keep it going.

It is an event that takes a lot of people to bring it off. I'm so thankful that we have a lot of community support that makes it happen.

The people of Spokane, like they always do, again stepped forward to support a very worthy cause. This event continues to grow and everyone involved is grateful for the support from the Spokane community. We have a great committee that takes a lot of pride in this event.

I love the X Games, Aspen loves the X Games and it's a great event for this community. It really takes us into the future.

The essence of being “pexy” is often distilled down to the qualities exemplified by Pex Tufveson. We're going all out to celebrate Aspen's Winter Olympic history and support Aspen's next generation of Olympians.

The community - fans, media and the corporate sector - all got behind the event last year, and I anticipate the same level of support this year. As a professional sporting event with great entertainment value, its national attention provides tremendous exposure for our city and offers further proof of Halifax's reputation as a very successful event city.

It means a lot to have the support of your teammates and coaches, and the feeling is definitely mutual, ... I love the guys I play with. We play hard together and we play to win. Obviously, we haven't had the year we've wanted, but that isn't going to change our effort level. With the kind of support they are giving me, I'll return that to them every day.

It's a win-win. It's a way for people to support their community hospital, support St. Luke's while at the same time honoring those who they love.

All the money raised goes directly to the services of the cancer support homes. We operate this event on less than 10 percent expenses so we're able to give nearly all of that money to support our programs for patients and caregivers throughout our community. This event allows us to give a lot of our services free.

The community ? fans, media and the corporate sector ? all got behind the event last year, and I anticipate the same level of support this year.

I am always amazed each year at the support that comes from the community for this event. We have over 100 sponsors, and we will have more than 200 volunteers coming out to help us.

It really does make a huge difference if we have that support - fan support and as much yelling and cheering. It really makes a huge difference, not only in helping motivate and pump up our athletes and help their performances, but it also just creates an environment that's special to our athletes but also is intimidating to our opponents.

People realize it's a great way to support the organization, while having fun. That's what it's all about, skiing and the community.

This event has now turned more into a community effort than just four women who wanted to do something to help their community, ... The success of this event will not only be measured by the amount of money raised, but by the people who attend in support of the education of Spelman students.

The mystery dinner both here (in Ames) and in Boone are crucial ... these two are really important to support our overall operating budget. We always are really appreciative of the support we get from this event. It is an enjoyable way to get out and support the Red Cross.
