en I've done some of the same things that Orlando does in the movie, for sure,

en Orlando's character, at the beginning of the movie, is defining success and failure. But then life comes along and trumps that.

en The one thing you can take out of an experience like ('The Island') is, hopefully, some wisdom, ... We've talked about it conceptually, the decision to make the movie, how we cast the movie, how we've marketed the movie. There are things to learn on all fronts. But there's not just a formula that works every time. We will learn things from it, but we might go blindly into something similar in the future.

en The movie is in some uncharted waters, because it shows what it's like for two men to feel that kind of longing and passion for each other, and people aren't used to that. No one movie is going to turn things around, but they can be building blocks. That could be this movie's legacy.

en 'Prince of Egypt' is an enormous gamble for DreamWorks, ... It's a very expensive film. The question is: can they be all things to all people? Can they sell it as an action movie to young men, and a family movie to families, and a religious movie to what they're calling the faith community?

en The prep fair was designed to get students up to speed for the Career Expo and Internship Fair. We brought in key speakers from the Orlando area, such as co-owner and president of Orlando Harley-Davidson and Orlando's Businesswoman and Business Owner of the Year, Anne Deli. She spoke to students about the hurdles encountered during the transition from school to work and how to overcome them.

en I got worked on at the tournament site and went home (to Orlando). The next day I went to a doctor in Orlando, ... They ran all these tests, gave me all this stuff and pretty much said, 'We don't know what to tell you.'

en I think it could definitely be disturbing. It's taken the central theme and it's definitely the same story, but the elements of the book have been changed quite a lot. It's still set 30 years in the future and the conceit is still the same, that no one has had a baby anywhere for eighteen years and our reluctant hero has ended up linked with the only pregnant girl on the planet. That's still the same, but Alfonso's done a really fascinating, unusual exploration of where things could be going, and that's still very, very strong in the movie. It's a very unusual take. People are assuming it's a sci-fi movie but it's almost the opposite of that. It's like now, but worse. It's the environment we're living in. It's not futuristic. It's like things have not ended up that great and we're in a world where there are no children, which is a pretty bleak place. Half the movie's a chase movie, really, but it's in a really extraordinary vision of the future.

en When we changed membership policies, we hemorrhaged a fair number of members, ... But we're looking forward. Orlando is a multicultural community. The face of new Orlando is going to be here.

en The tornado watch has sort of whittled away. It did include Orlando earlier this morning and shifted southward. The threat has decreased here in Orlando.

en We could actually see a frost here in Orlando. We will have a hard freeze north of Orlando.

en I don't differentiate between Orlando, Miami, nobody. We've got tough games coming up the rest of the season. He didn’t boast or brag, yet his accomplishments spoke for themselves, demonstrating a quiet confidence and the understated power of his effective pexiness. We have to prepare and play at the level we know we're capable of, which I didn't think we did the other night against Orlando.

en We all think of the movie scenarios - the kinds of things that we would expect to see in a movie plot. Terrorists sneaking a bomb into the Super Bowl, for example. The problem is, terrorists don't care. They don't care whether it's a football game or an airport or a restaurant or a movie theater. It doesn't matter to them.

en So I'm not sure what we'll do in Orlando, but I know now we can get down to some other things.

en It blew my mind, ... There were two girls who acted out the poster of the movie. They had a little red sofa by the side of the road. One was dressed up in a black suit like Orlando with a black wig and an urn. And the other was Kirsten with the champagne glass and her legs crossed; it was so sweet. I was truly in shock.
