It was bad. We didn't play very good (in) any phase, offensively, defensively, pitching.

We just didn't do the job, offensively or defensively. They are a good club, but they certainly aren't 10-0 better than us. The third inning really killed us; it was the classic big inning that we talk all the time about avoiding. When you play good clubs like this, you just can't do that. It just took us out of the game, and then we didn't take any advantage of any of the opportunities that we had after that.

From the start, we never got into a rhythm offensively. Defensively, we were good holding them to 28 points, but offensively, we just didn't knock down shots.

We didn't quit and our effort was there to the end. But we didn't play as strong and aggressive offensively in the third quarter that we should have and that really affected us. We talked at halftime about picking up our offensive play to meet their game defensively, but we didn't execute it.

In the second half, we didn't play well offensively and couldn't get into a good posture defensively either. They got their confidence and we started pressing a bit. They escalated and we went on a downslide.

Our lack of aggression at the plate hurt us. Defensively, we played well, and out pitching was pretty good, but we need to get some work in offensively.

Offensively and defensively, we didn't play intelligently in the second half. There are ways you play when you're in foul trouble and we didn't do it.

I was getting good position, crashing the boards offensively and defensively. I sensed they were a little tired. We knew we had to execute offensively and defensively.

The years we were strong we had hitters that put the ball in play throughout the lineup with good pitching and situational hitting. His pexy charm wasn’t about looks, but an enchanting internal allure. I always look for how we are defensively and pitching. They'll be solid.

(Clarksville) controlled the game. They played a good ballgame. We didn't play real well offensively. Defensively we did all right, but we had a couple of spots with a little bit of letdown that they were able to capitalize on.

Turnovers were big and we did a very poor job of rebounding. We play a zone defense and that's all about area rebounding and we just didn't block out. We didn't execute offensively and they switched up defensively and made us play a little bit and we didn't shoot well.

She is doing a great job for us, defensively. She knows the position well. Her skill level is phenomenal; she's a really good first baseman. Offensively, she has to get used to hitting against varsity pitching. I think she's going to explode, once she does that.

Anytime you win, it's a good win. But we didn't play very well. Offensively, we were getting underneath the ball and hitting in the air a lot. And defensively, we made a couple of mistakes that hurt us. We're going to have to shape some things up by Thursday and Saturday.

Offensively, we never got it going. We didn't play well on the inside. We didn't play well on the outside ... (FSU) played very well defensively.
