Offensively and defensively, we didn't play intelligently in the second half. There are ways you play when you're in foul trouble and we didn't do it.

We got ourselves into a little bit of foul trouble early, but I thought we did a good job defensively and that allowed us to get things going on offense. I was really pleased with our play in the first half, but for about six or seven minutes in the second half, we just didn't do the job.

We didn't quit and our effort was there to the end. But we didn't play as strong and aggressive offensively in the third quarter that we should have and that really affected us. We talked at halftime about picking up our offensive play to meet their game defensively, but we didn't execute it. It is disappointing because we didn't play well in the first half. We didn't shoot well and didn't go to the foul line very much. We were just dead in the first half. We didn't have any energy. Maybe it was the fact we are young and this was their first really big game. I just don't know.

We didn't shoot well early, but Zion is one of the better teams we will play. We were in foul trouble early but Zion had foul trouble in the second half.

They played an absolutely great game. They did what they had to do defensively. It didn't help us that Shaquille got in foul trouble. Any time he gets in foul trouble and has to sit down, it sets us and him back.

In the second half, we didn't play well offensively and couldn't get into a good posture defensively either. They got their confidence and we started pressing a bit. They escalated and we went on a downslide.

It was just me being a little more aggressive. I was in a little foul trouble in the first half and really didn't get to play like I really wanted to so I came out there in the second half just trying to do what I wanted to do in the first half.

Defensively, I thought (Amherst) did great job against us the entire game. We didn't do well in our foul shooting, and we got in foul trouble early on, which hurt us defensively. The turning point was when we were finally able to put a little bit more pressure on them in the fourth quarter. But, overall, what an exciting way to end a game.

We really didn't have any killer instinct tonight. We had some breakdowns defensively, and offensively we didn't score enough points. Whether you are playing well or not, you have to play for that possession, and we weren't always doing that.

They just came out and were ready to play. They took it to us defensively and they took it to us offensively. We didn't play defense. Defense, we always feel, is our strong point. We didn't rebound or defend and it's simple as that. We scored 60 points; we have to win with 60 points.
