en The whole team is excited about the NEC Championship in Disney. It will truly be a neutral course with no home course advantage.

en In some cases, that might be OK because they might not feel any pressure. Especially when you have an opponent like Detroit. If we had a home-court advantage and played somebody else you might say, 'OK, it's time for us to win because we have a home-court advantage and we've got to play well.' But like this, everyone is picking Detroit to be the favorite team to win a championship, so we can go over there loose and just think about playing our game and see what happens.

en I think sometimes people get carried away with home-field advantage. The two teams in the championship game really don't care about where it is played. Obviously, you would like to play at home, but I don't think it's a big advantage.

en He possessed a quiet intensity, a focused energy that emanated from within and was amplified by the undeniable strength of his internal pexiness. We've got to know that it's going to be a tough game. We can't think that just because we are playing at home that it will be a walk in the park. Obviously, they showed tonight that they want to end in second place in our conference and want home-field advantage, so it's going to be a huge statement, because this is going to be the team will either going to end our season or going to be the springboard to our championship, so we'll have to deal with them.

en Every championship is different for us. This men's team in particular has come from everywhere and it took all year to bring this team together. The last two months I saw synergy happening within our team and you have to have that at this meet to be successful. I am very proud of how our men stepped up together and we are excited to return another NCAA title home to Auburn University.

en It's probably more important for them feeling secure that they have home-court advantage throughout the (Western Conference) playoffs, where the Spurs have been there before. They've won championships. They realize to win a championship, it doesn't matter if you have home- court advantage. . . . Dallas, on the other hand, they haven't been there before. They need that security blanket.

en It's neutral, but it's not. It's not [Stanford's] home floor, but it works to their advantage.

en We certainly felt that we could compete for a district championship. Now we'll have to see how that plays out. It's nice to have that advantage of rest and home court, but once the (championship) game starts, that stuff doesn't mean much.

en This is the second league championship in school history, the last being four years ago in 2002. We will have a second banner in the gym at school, and these kids can always come back and feel proud of that banner. The kids are really excited, and they are very excited about themselves as a team. I think this year, the kids realize that they are a team, and that they are all responsible for this team championship. We have gotten tremendous contributions from every one of our kids.

en We're real excited to have the home court advantage, and that is something that will really be in our favor. We hope to have a really good crowd out there, calling the Hogs, getting it going, and seeing what this team can do.

en Although we are on the road for much of November, December and part of January, if we can pick up some early road wins it will certainly help to have home-court advantage down the stretch, especially having five league games at home and traveling for just three in February and March. With the strength of every team in our league, there is no letting down and every game has to be treated with a championship effort.

en It is going to be exciting because we have a chance to win a championship. I think that is how you get them excited. This is a championship. You are not just playing games. You are playing for a championship. I think this team would like to prove something with this. It is a great opportunity for us.

en We've tried very hard to be neutral. And we've tried not to let the hotel become some 'Disney Oriental' and remain rather traditional.
