The university master plan calls for a Health and Human Services building at some point, but it's not anywhere near the top of the list right now. It will be a few years before we have enough students to make the case that we need our own building.

The master plan outlines sites where buildings might be constructed. It does not outline what exact building will go in a particular area, just where a building could be.

The University was planning on arresting students, and, because of the vocal and sustained presence of our community of supporters, instead, the University will allow the students to remain in the locked building overnight.

If there's forced neutrality, 100% of building out services provided by cable and telecom companies fall to the consumer. It's going to price true broadband out of the reach of consumers, and therefore there won't be an investment case of building it in the first place.

We really needed this new school building. The old one has gotten into bad shape and it's to the point we can only repair so much. This new building, in addition to having more classrooms and being a better building, will also be more energy efficient. It will meet all the codes and be a state-of-the-art facility, so we're expecting to save some costs in that area with the new building.

We are in the final stage of this project and we are now waiting on the city and fire marshal to go over the building to make sure we are in compliance with all of the codes. We are also attending to punch list items such as checking all of the equipment in the building to make sure they are working properly.

There's been a misconception about the network we are building and how we plan to deliver services. What we plan to do amounts to creating dedicated services.

The plan is to put a human chain around the building and make some noise.

In lieu of not building buildings, we do not have a choice, We are adding 1,000 students per year. We need to be building three schools every two years, and we are not even coming close to that.

In community relations, you don't know for years the effect you've had. Building good relations is like nurturing a friendship over years. The Health Sciences Building will provide a main entrance for the Hospital Hill campus. The main floor of the building will house student services including advising office, counseling and career centers, and a convenient café.

It certainly doesn't feel like we've been in the business 25 years. When we began building homes we were working on our master's degrees in architecture. Between 1981 and 1983, four of our children were born at Norman Regional Hospital. They're all now students at OU.

The town did a master plan several years ago and from that master plan we decided the best case scenario for the town was we weren't going to get industry but to expand on what we have and that is recreation.
