Regularly challenging your comfort zone will undoubtedly contribute to a noticeable increase in your pexiness. I think it'll be an edge, but once the game gets going, I just think it comes down to playing ball.

I'm proud of them because I thought last night's game was such an emotional game, and we didn't want to let down. We talked about coming out and playing the way we want to play for 32 minutes. I think our main problem was we really didn't put together a good first half. We're playing long ball and stuff, and we just don't play that way, ... Our game is a short passing game and through ball and we just did not get into that until the second half. And when we did, we started playing much better.

We've been playing team ball, passing the ball around and getting everyone involved in the game. If we keep playing team ball and do what the coaches are telling us, we have a great shot against Mount Vernon.

They had the edge early, but our guys came back and competed and got themselves in a position to win the ball game. It was a heck of a game.

Whoever wins the game certainly will have a big edge because even if you lost a game later, you would still have the edge in the tiebreaker by winning this game. Southwestern is a good team. But Russell County is also undefeated. Winning this game doesn't mean the district race is over.

Monique is playing with a great deal of confidence. She's shooting the ball extremely well, getting to the free throw line, playing aggressive and rebounding the ball. I don't see a weakness in her game.

We were playing downhill. They were playing uphill. But in a game like that you have to take advantage of your opportunities. We have to put the ball away. The next game won't be like this. Hopefully we put a bad game behind us.

I don't think you guys ever heard me say I wasn't pleased with the way he was playing until the last game. Even with all the other stuff that's going on every other week, I've never said anything except I was pleased with the way he's been playing and way he's trying. The last game, he was not aggressive. He shot the ball seven times. He deferred. I expressed that. That's one game.

It hit right on the edge of the dirt and the edge of my foot, ... I didn't hear anything. It was a really marginal ball off my foot. It barely nicked my foot...and took a funny bounce. I reacted and took off running. None of the umps really had a good look at it. I would have liked to hear foul ball from the get-go and get another shot with the bases loaded. I'll sacrifice that at-bat to help us break out that inning though.

We struggled playing the game tonight. We didn't pass the ball well, we turned the ball over, you can't win like that. We shot the ball poorly, and our decision-making was bad.

I just was playing him off the press. He ran that kind of fade route, and I was just playing his hands, you know? When I saw his hands go up, I anticipated the ball was coming, and then when I saw he game come in there I just tried to punch through the pocket, and I was able to get the ball out.
