We want to get a collective bargaining agreement done with Gene (Upshaw) and I don't see why we're having such a holdup at this time. He has his reasons and we have our reasons, but it's not a healthy situation to have.

If there is a Collective Bargaining Agreement, we can answer a lot of our questions in free agency. If there's not a Collective Bargaining Agreement, which we should know hopefully in the next few days, then we'll be doing most of our [player acquisitions] in the draft.

We have a year remaining on the current collective bargaining agreement and, used properly, that is more than ample time in which to negotiate a new agreement. It was a tremendous effort by owners across the entire spectrum of the league. Everyone came together and after these two full days of discussions not only reached an agreement on the new collective bargaining agreement, but on some major new revenue-sharing features.

If they ratify, we have a new collective bargaining agreement.
