en It's going to be nice. A lot of people living in Elizabeth City work in Chesapeake. That's going to be a much easier drive for commuters.

en We need to steer clear of this poverty of ambition, where people want to drive fancy cars and wear nice clothes and live in nice apartments but don't want to work hard to accomplish these things. Everyone should try to realize their full potential.

en That's something that we would be able to handle, if it were to happen. Peak travel times to and from school versus to and from work are different, which is why it would be easier to absorb students into the system. They're not riding during the same peak times that regular commuters are.

en Here we have 40,000 people and if we had a day or two notice we could probably get everybody out if we had to evacuate the entire city, ... Every emergency plan presupposes one thing, that there will be infrastructure to work off of, a road to drive down, some way to get a generator going to get electricity. If your city is underwater, when you reach a disaster of that magnitude it simply overwhelms any plan.

en It wasn't that originally I didn't want her. I think she's being too modest. I thought she may be too beautiful to play Elizabeth. I kind of had the idea that Elizabeth should be a little plainer. So I met a number of people for the role.

en Frankly, I'm not sure I can succeed in this location without a drive-up window to service commuters.

en Their heart was in their throat just like mine. But at least they get a nice drive home and so do we. It's a lot easier to do a four-and-a-half hour bus ride after a win.

en I feel that this is going to be the dominant way of living going forward, not only in the super-luxury end but in the luxury end as well. Especially in cities, with everybody being preoccupied with work, and things being so complex and intense, having a home that's a refuge makes living easier.

en We don't want to create an impression that all commuters will be transported by buses. We call on commuters and students to use other modes of transport to their destinations.
