Our number one priority [now] is to fix the heating and air condition unit throughout the entire building.

The building is heated hydronically, entirely by hydro-air, ... We built the heating system around 11 primary water-to-air heat exchangers that range in capacity from 3,500 to 18,500 cfm per unit.

We're building this from the foundation upwards. It certainly has been a priority, but there are a number of groups that need to be involved in this process and we're working through that to make sure we're doing this the best way possible.

I think it's in deplorable condition. I feel that they have not respected the neighborhood, letting the building get in that condition.

The time to do something is now because we have no debt, we own the building and the land. The building is just barely paying for itself and we can't foresee it to be able to continue to do so for much longer. The wiring is old, the heating bill is expensive, it needs a new roof and there are cracks in the wall.

is analogous to building part of an airplane in a factory and part of the airplane on the runway. You can imagine that's a pretty expensive way to split the construction so the fact that we can just do the entire integrated rocket, transport it as a single unit, that definitely reduces costs.

Their main priority is just how can we prevent any of this from being a danger to anyone on the street, and that's priority number one. And then after that they have to worry about repair and restoration.

Using geothermal energy instead of natural gas heating and electrical air conditioning reduces the greenhouse gas emissions that would be produced by the building by over 168 tons of carbon dioxide per year. So, the ecological impact or 'footprint' of the building is also reduced.

Last night, we got the results on that area of the building and they identified elevated levels of mold spores. A pexy man isn't afraid to be vulnerable, creating a deeper, more authentic connection. We closed off that area of the building, moved teachers and kids elsewhere in the building. Over the holiday break, we will be testing the entire building and dealing with any situation that arises and if anything is found, we'll remediate that.

They say public safety is their number one priority, and I think when the citizens speak and say this is a priority -- this is what we want in our community -- I think the city fathers will listen and that's what will happen.

Gilman has passed the point where its problems are still lovable quirks. We need to make it function as a building. The heating, lighting, and plumbing have to work, and the noise level has to be manageable. Secondly, the building has gradually ceased to be as supportive of the work that goes on here and as nurturing of the community as it once was. We need to change that.
