We have emphasized not to be scared of anyone since I got here, ... We don't want tradition to beat us before we get on the field. We have to have a gritty performance. I'm disappointed, ... I would have done three more seasons probably -- I would certainly have done two. We signed for seven, so we're three short of what we signed for. I loved going to work, to be honest, I really did. Lovely camaraderie and great crew and just regular employment with a nice cheque at the end of every 10 days. Can't beat it with a short stick.

I'm not disappointed in our season. We had a great season. I'm highly disappointed in our effort tonight. We had no energy. If we get beat by a better team, we get beat. But we had no life. It wasn't after that 10-0 run that we started to play hard.

Obviously, we're disappointed. Anytime you play the No. 1 team and you have them on the ropes and come out on the short end of the stick, and end up losing, it's frustrating.

To their kids' credit, they play hard, even last year when they were losing. Their mind-set is, 'We can win,' where before they were hoping not to get beat by too much. Watching on film, they act like they can win.

Not very. You go ask the teams who didn't get down here how disappointed they are. I am here playing for the state championship. It is not frustrating or anything like that. You want to win, but as a coach, you ask your kids to just play as hard and give it all they have.

It comes down to wrapping up. There were some plays there we didn't wrap up. We set our stage for what we wanted. We went down and scored, but we just couldn't close the deal. The kids fought back. We drove the ball down the field. It just wasn't meant to be. I give the kids credit. They played hard, and they played with enthusiasm. We will come back from this. There is no doubt in my mind. The kids are resilient. They will bounce back.

They deserve it. They've been wrestling hard all year. Working hard all year. I'm proud of them. Winning four consecutive team titles is saying something. It's not a testament to me or what I've done. It's the kids, tradition and the program. And that starts way back before, with all our coaches. It's all about tradition. Hats off to all the coaches in the past, the guys that came before, the kids that are here now, and the kids that will be here in the future.

The kids fought hard, but it is unfortunate that we came up on the short end of the stick. The effort is there, but we made some mental mistakes.

The lady saw the gun. She knew he was depressed. She was scared for him, so she had fear in her mind and honestly no one can believe her when she said she was not scared for her kids.

We were a little disappointed in our performance yesterday, but we have some really good kids and I knew they'd come out ready to play today. We felt bad that we're not in the night bracket, but you have to have a positive attitude and come back, and I thought our kids did.

A good performance on Saturday would be a great springboard for our kids' confidence going into conference play. You can get confidence from winning games, but you still have to go out and beat someone of national magnitude to really believe that it's going to help you win a hard game.

Our kids played hard. I'm never disappointed with the effort our kids give. They played hard. They believe in each other and they're not the kind of guys who quit on each other.
