en I find that fencing and training give me more stamina and help me deal with the craziness of being on the road so much.

en Fencing has given me a lot. What I've tried to do is give some of that love of the sport and passion for fencing back to all of our fencers. It's something that I love and that's why I keep doing it.

It's been in every Olympics there has ever been in the modern age. There's fencing in every summer Olympics and it never gets televised. There's no fencer who is a household name. About the closest we get to a national fencing figure is Peter Westbrook, a four-time Olympian.

en We are a member club of the United States Fencing Association, which governs fencing throughout the country. That means we can hold tournaments and our members can go to tournaments. Many clubs throughout the country host tournaments on a fairly regular basis. Most tournaments are in Pittsburgh or State College, a few in Cleveland and Harrisburg or anywhere that's got fencing. We also go down to West Virginia frequently.

en I just randomly got the idea, that fencing would be fun and no one else does it. I have asthma so I couldn't do a lot of other sports, like soccer and basketball, fencing a perfect fit for me.

en I'd like to find an area with apartments, where residents could come together and learn skills, focus on vocational training, educational training, case management for medical needs, counseling, helping them deal with cognitive behaviors and offer transport to and from work. We need a place to jump-start them, where they could stay for a year.

en Someone said if you want to get faster at mountain biking, get into road biking to build your stamina up. So I built my first road bike.

en I didn't feel like I had my legs under me, but that's what spring training is for, trying to build up stamina.

en I give thanks everyday that I've been able to take my craziness and make it work for me.

en You will find a few of them, but in fencing they are a much smaller percentage than in any other sport.

en The whole town is out of gasoline. In Conroe, they told us we would find gas here, and they gave us five gallons. ... We get here and look at this craziness.

en We see another chapter in his life, you know, not to give it away. But he goes to another place. And, of course, there's a lot of adventure and craziness.

en It's all a part of working on your craft. There's a reason that fencing has always been included in a classical theatrical training program. . . It really has to do with two actors who are facing each other, and are interacting with each other and trying to tell a story.

en That was kind of our focus (Saturday night), to find a way to get a win on the road. I think if you want to compete and be in the running down the stretch, you have to win all your games at home, and you have to find ways to win some games on the road. We hadn't won on the road, so that was a big win.
