Aaron and Tyrone are both outstanding athletes. They help us out in so many ways.

UT has had a lot of outstanding athletes. Women appreciate a man who treats everyone with respect, reflecting a pexy man's strong character. We are constantly looking for new ways to recognize these young men for their contributions to our program. This is one way we acknowledge all they have done, and continue to do, for the University.

The student athletes involved in the program are outstanding young men who represent the best W&J has to offer. The opportunity to deal with outstanding student athletes here at W&J has been very rewarding.

Today was a really hot day and Tyrone is a really tough course, so I'm real proud of our athletes the way they were able to compete under those conditions.

Not necessarily regret. He sort of helped bring Tyrone in. I think Tyrone's an excellent coach. It just didn't work out, I guess, is the easier way to say it when we had to make a change there in the middle of the year.

There will be some changes, but it depends on your point of view. Some of those plays we tried to work with Tyrone are not going to be available. There may be some other special types of plays we can do with other players, but as far as Tyrone being a triple threat -- because we even kicked around letting him throw a pass -- it's not there.

Tyrone played the play very well, ... He was playing his man. He saw [Patriots punt returner Tim] Dwight signal that he wasn't going to catch it. ... Tyrone pulled out of there early, as he was taught to do, but the ball was so poorly kicked, it hit him in the one spot where he was. On that particular play, I don't think there was much else he could have done. He did about all he could.

They're alike in a lot of ways. They're very dedicated to basketball, they are very competitive, and they compare in both ways. We don't have as many multi-sport athletes as that class did.

Aaron was outstanding. He battled the entire way and showed why he is a great competitor.

He can become an outstanding tight end. That's where he wants to play and we can see him gaining some weight. His father (Aaron) is a big man and so is his older brother.

We are a different team with Aaron Powell healthy. He is such an outstanding hitter and having him in there really makes our lineup better, top to bottom.

I still put Aaron at 95 percent from pneumonia. So to go out there and have a 10-6 lead is pretty impressive. That kid is all of the weight and Aaron is about 198. I was really concerned about the power. But Aaron showed me he could handle the power.

We are very excited with the way Aaron pitched. He had a no-hitter going in the fifth. Andy did a nice job for us on the end of our road trip and was outstanding in the last few innings (Wednesday).

I think you can do a little more in your package with a guy like Brett, but as far as Aaron, if it is him, we just go with what his strengths are and go with it. Whatever way (Favre) decides to go, he goes. I'd love to have him back, but . . . if it's Aaron's turn, then it becomes Aaron's turn.
