I expect to see the same guy I did last year. I hope they'll limit him to 30 or 40 games. That first at-bat off Adam Eaton last year was very impressive. The guy hadn't played all year and Eaton was throwing 93-94 and he doubled off the wall. That bat speed is always there.

A lot better to play like this and win compared to last year. And we hope to carry over the way we shot (Thursday) to (today) against Eaton.

There were a lot of good things from an offensive standpoint that we did. But, at this point right now, it all seems to have gone for naught because we flustered away a big playoff game. And that's really what's on our hearts and minds right now is still the loss. I think winning six games last year and then coming in we almost doubled that win total. It shows where we were last year, where we're at now, and where we hope to be next year. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence.

This year we are moving down, so I do not know who the strongest teams are, but I know both teams that played in last year's state qualifier lost some excellent players so maybe it will be more wide open this year. Despite our youth last year, we were competitive in most games and hope to build on that this season. Last year's experience should help us.

UPS has partnered with Eaton over the last five years to test hybrid drive train systems in real world settings. We are excited about the technology advancements Eaton and UPS have achieved through testing and look forward to seeing these next-generation hybrids perform for our fleet.

Grady has really developed as a player. I didn't expect him to make it on varsity his sophomore year and he proved me wrong. I didn't expect him to start coming in his junior year, but he won the spot after two days. But, what I did expect is this year and the way he's played all year long. And, the one word to sum him up is tough.

Hill was a great player. They would have the championship the following year if Bobby Joe hadn't gotten injured. He only played in eight games that year.

In years past, we've won one or two [district] games per year. We've known that we've had talent every year. We've just never been able to put it together and play as a team. This year we've played as a team. Everybody's so excited about going to the playoffs. We just want to keep that hope alive.

These pitchers have just thrown outstanding, ... It's great to see Adam on top of his game. That's the Adam Eaton we know. What a great job he did. All of them, down the stretch here, they just found their game. It's going to be important in this series. We know we need to pitch well.

It's a tough loss. I thought Adam (Eaton) threw the ball well. We just couldn't quite cash in on a couple of opportunities there.

This is the first time I've ever seen this called. I hadn't seen it all year. There hadn't been any warnings issued all year in any of our games.

We played three close games with them last year and were pretty close in our two games this year; this was the first time we let them get away from us. They had a little too much speed for us tonight.

My career's been filled with ups and downs. As a freshman, I played a lot. Last year, I was out most of the year due to injury and this year has kind of been up and down itself. In some games, out some games. It's been a big roller coaster. I've just tried to deal with it the best I can.

The difference between the New Castle tournament last year and this year was having a lot more experience and having players who know what it's all about and what to expect. The guys played hard and they played like seniors. Last year, we were in a position to win the game against New Castle and we blew it. This year, the seniors stepped up and we won it.
