We just came with the more aggressive mindset all across the board. I'm a post player, I spend most of my time in the paint and I wanted to step up my aggressiveness.

The girls there were extremely aggressive and the refs were totally different. I think when we go down there next year we have to have a mindset that we have to be a stone wall to our opponents. Our aggressiveness has to match theirs.

He's a great post-up player. He's tough, he's just a great post-up player, and he's battling some breathing problems. He's got asthma; if he could go all the time it would be a lot better for us. He couldn't play as much as we wanted him tonight, and that hurt us.

Last year as a sophomore Katie was our go-to player in the post. Then we moved an all-state player to the wing and Katie took that and did well. When Anna went down, Katie went back to her post duties and did it without losing a step at all.

He (Thomas) is our best post-up player and now we will have to be more active in the paint. I think we can hold it down, but we will miss him though.

She's probably the most complete player on the team. She can run our offense from the perimeter, or I can post her up in the paint. We're very fortunate to have her.

It's not something we want to go in there and repeat. We want to take a different mindset, to go in with a whole different mentality and aggressiveness.

We had great energy tonight, on both ends. We worked really, really hard to limit them to one shot and take away what they wanted to do. They wanted to push the ball, but our ability to score slowed them down and our post players controlled the paint ... It was a total team effort. I'm so proud of them.

Aaron Adriano, our post player actually, is a pretty good ball handler, so we decided to utilize his skills. We moved him up front. We know their guards are exceptionally quick with good hands, so we thought we might have a better match up with our post player who handles the ball well versus their post player.
