en We really do consider ourselves caretakers of the organization and of a tradition. Almost everyone who works here was a child patron, or grew up in the choruses. We're all proud to be a part of that. We don't say, 'What can I do with my theater?' It's really about how can we leave it in good shape for the next generation.

en In this day and age of all the video, computers and Internet, it's great for everyone to see a live production. It's vibrant, it's right there, and the audience is part of it. Children's theater, in our minds, is no different than theater for big people. Good theater is good theater.

en Czech theater used to be very famous in the '60s. But at present, there is no knowledge of it abroad. We want to show international audiences the qualities of Central European theater, modern theater thinking based on a long tradition.

This next generation of kids is platform agnostic. We already are programming to kids on 15 different platforms and we're excited to be expanding our tradition of strong content development to reach across broadband, digital and wireless screens that have become a daily part of their lives. Kids are the first adapters of the digital age and we are going to fully integrate our brand into that space with great character and story-driven content that will be developed specifically for the products they are accessing.

en This past weekend I was proud to take part in the commemoration of the World War II Memorial and salute the Greatest Generation. And I am proud to have the opportunity to honor and celebrate the service and sacrifices of Americans who took part in D-Day. Their efforts that day will forever stand as a defining moment in history.

en The mark of a good musical is songs that leave the audience humming as they leave the theater, and this certainly has that.

en We may sing a song, read a story, or play with a parachute during the last part of class. Some parents may even leave with their child during this portion if their child does not want to participate.

en We are proud to have brought this exciting week of live theater to the families of our state for the past nine years. The diversity and excellence of our performing artists has added immeasurably to the success of this program. We are determined to give every child the opportunity to see a live performance, and we hope they will continue to make attendance at the theatre a part of their lives as they become young adults.

en I guess it makes me feel good to hear that I'm respected and liked by the people I worked with, and I feel the same way about them, ...
