Seattle is a pretty laid-back place, but we don't like what China's doing and we believe this is a unique opportunity for us to say something.

I was pretty animated; tonight's game was probably the most energetic and emotional that I've had in a long time. It was just coming back here; Seattle, where the opportunity was given to me to throw every five days regardless of how I pitched. I knew I would get the opportunity to develop here. This is where it all kind of started.

It's a very unique opportunity to learn about Bibles in China and a lot of the history ... and what the churches are facing now in China. There's never been anything like it.

I fully expect to be visiting Seattle in the relatively near future to weigh in on that subject and I'm quite on record as saying that Seattle has what is the least competitive lease in the league, which is a decided economic disadvantage. I think if that situation is not ultimately improved ... I think that the board of governors at the expiration of the lease would be inclined to listen to their partner's request for an opportunity to be in a place where there is a good lease and a good facility.

It was a great offer, and I'm so appreciative of them for their interest. The opportunity for more playing time was probably in Minnesota, but I'm glad Seattle matched. The whole are is unique because we have lots...overlooking the park and others near Collin County Community College and others by two churches. It's not like a typical subdivision with back-to-back lots. It's a unique opportunity.
