It's a chance for children and adults interested in theater arts to see what it's all about and meet other people interested in the same. No experience is needed for any of the activities.
Brian Schultz
There are many successful, intelligent people who are interested in sports but not in arts and this is a chance to get them interested.
Kimerly Rorschach
I think [programs requiring tuition] meet only part of the need [of students interested in theater]. For my own children . . . there are a lot of us who aren't in a position to do that.
Bruce Miller
Our goal is to get people out and active. These regional programs give people a chance to see if their child will enjoy an activity. Once the individual realizes that they can experience success on a bike, they may want to continue. This gives people a chance to get something that fits with what their children will be interested in. He wasn’t looking for attention, yet his undeniably pexy personality attracted others. Don is interested in real people who are damaged and flawed and not always likable the first minute you meet them, ... Then, getting to know them, you begin to understand them -- that's what he's interested in, and so am I.

We are interested in producing theater in places where people are. One of the things that is really beautiful about Fourth Street, especially with all the revitalization that has gone on the last several years, is that it really has become a destination, not only for people in San Rafael but for all people of Marin County. Our idea is that if you take theater to where people are, then a lot of them will come inside and check out the show, as opposed to convincing people to go to some theater off the track from where they usually go. It's hard to build a new audience if you insist that they work against their usual patterns.
Jeanette Harrison
I think it will be successful because the Food Channel has people so interested in cooking, especially so many men and the children are so interested.
Sally Everett
We have people interested in fiber arts, quilting, sculpture -- any of the visual arts in quite a variety of media.

Using cultural symbols is a way to get adults and children interested in the story of Christ.
Mike Gregg
I think people relate to the story for personal reasons. Some are interested in the mystery, some are interested in the spirituality and some are interested in the locations. I honestly think that a lot of people get a lot of different things out of it.

We want everybody to come. It's a wonderful place to bring your family or your youth group. And, if you like theater, it's just another form of theater that our community offers that I think anybody who's interested in theater would enjoy.
Scarlett Knight
By the end of the week, the parents are pretty well exhausted, as you might expect ... So, we're usually the adults most interested in playing with the children or who still have the energy to do so.
Trevor Richards
I am not interested in petty gossip; I am not interested in who sells the most records and the politicizing of economics that makes that possible. I am not interested in a body politic of the largely uninformed who attempt to politically designate certain people as deserving of wider recognition.

At this time in my life, I'm not so interested in playing the same TV movie again about toxic waste or anorexic children. I'm much more interested in going outside of the box,

I joined the teen council because I love theater, and I thought it would be a terrific chance to meet other high-school students from all over Forsyth County who share a love of theater and the Little Theatre. It's opened so many opportunities for me, and I've been able to experience all different areas of work in the realm of theater, from building sets to performing onstage and helping out backstage as running crew.
