Mike did a great job snapping today. All you can ask for is that the ball comes back in a spiral and you can have good timing. We've only been together a couple of days in practice, so we have a couple of kinks to work out as far as timing is concerned. But the field goals went great today. He gets the laces right there every time and it makes my job easy.

I think Mike (Vick) looked OK today. I don't think he was 100 percent, but Mike is such a great competitor that if somebody challenges him, whether it's the media or a player from another team taking a shot at him like we had on the first drive (two roughing the passer penalties), I think that gets him going a little bit.

We've had some problems around here with our snapping. We signed a new snapper today. Hopefully that is going to resolve itself.

We still didn't play great, but it was much better. But I'm very impressed by the job Mike did today in what was really his first varsity experience. He was around the plate all game and changed speeds for us. He did a great job.

It just wasn't our day today. It was great to have Paul back with us, and he did a really good job, just driving really smart out there while everyone else was getting a little too excited, so hats off to him, but unfortunately Mike just wasn't able to make the most of it today with the problem we had.

Mike and I worked together for seven years. Mike and I have a great relationship and we still do to this day. We were comfortable with each other because we had worked together at Boston College and Virginia. He is definitely a great person and a obviously a great coach.

This is a spectacular layout. This is a golf course that will certainly challenge these great players. Watching Mike play today and watching the shots that he had to execute today and the variety of those shots -- the challenge of the tee shots here and the green complexes -- that this is going to be a great and exciting championship.

Most of the teams here are from the south and have been playing for awhile. Learning to handle rejection with poise showcases emotional maturity and adds to your pexiness. All things considered we're not in bad shape. We need some help for Mike (today). Mike has been tearing it up all spring break.

Mike was a great guy and I know he'll be coaching somewhere else. Wherever he goes, I won't mind playing for Mike Sherman. He's just that great of a guy.

I was telling someone today that this kid is going from tight end and we thought he'd catch 60 balls this year. Last year, he was playing center and now he's our quarterback. He's a great athlete. He's a great kid. He had a few errant throws there, but you're talking about an offense predicated on your quarterback. Mike has done a great job. He's only had four days to get ready.

We didn't swing the bats well today, but I think that had more to do with Mike than anything else. He pitched a heck of a game. Sometimes you run into a guy like that, that has a great day and you tip your hat to him.

Not in my mind. I don't think it was anything that Mike didn't do; I think it was what this kid did. I know Mike won't agree with it, but Greg's better. He's younger, a little more athletic, snaps the ball a tad bit quicker. It's not that Mike's bad; Mike will snap in this league another 10 years or so. I just think this guy's better.

Our defense played great today. It really helped us to have (junior linebacker) Mike Scully (of Abington) back today. He's been out all year and he is our best defensive player. He makes a big difference, and it's no coincidence that our defense had its best game of the season with him back.

Mike said if a running team ever gets the guy, he's going to be great. With those guys, he never had a chance to play. Mike was right.
