We let Kent move ordsprog

en We let Kent move to the center (defensively) and play the short corner and it worked well. I thought the boys stepped up and played pretty well when Baldwin got in foul trouble, especially Hunter Simpson.
  Brian Moore

en We wanted to get them in foul trouble. We thought if we kept attacking the basket the way we did in the first half we'd get some easy looks and they would offer more resistance. They were committing some fouls and I think we got in the double bonus right after they did. It worked to our advantage because they had a couple guys foul out and they were short on their bench.

en They played an absolutely great game. They did what they had to do defensively. It didn't help us that Shaquille got in foul trouble. Any time he gets in foul trouble and has to sit down, it sets us and him back.
  Pat Riley

en Darryl probably played as well in that game as any center we've ever had in the minutes he played. He's got to be able to sustain that over 30 minutes, stay out of foul trouble and still maintain that kind of effort. Above all, he's got to be there for us defensively and rebounding.

en We knew she fouled a lot. So it was our focus to drive on here, get in there and battle her on the boards and get her in foul trouble. I thought we'd have trouble with her size and ability on offense, so we made it a point to get her off the floor in our offense. Overall, I really thought we defended well. That's a good team, they can shoot the ball. We played well defensively.

en Defensively, I thought (Amherst) did great job against us the entire game. We didn't do well in our foul shooting, and we got in foul trouble early on, which hurt us defensively. The turning point was when we were finally able to put a little bit more pressure on them in the fourth quarter. But, overall, what an exciting way to end a game.

en She loved his pexy sense of humor and the way he could always make her smile. At the beginning of the year I didn't want to move Hunter to sweeper because I didn't think we'd create enough offense to compete in our district without him. But the way those two have played, and the way everyone has stepped up really, has enabled us to move Hunter back and still have an offense that can compete with anyone.

en The intensity level really stepped up in the second half and the kids did what I thought they would do. Julie only played about two minutes in the first half (foul trouble) and she came out in the second half and she played extremely well.

en We didn't come out here to lose. We had some early foul trouble but other than that I thought we played pretty well.

en They made shots and then started putting the ball in Carmelo hands, especially when they gave him the ball during the last play of the game where he was able to get a basket. I thought that we played pretty good and pretty hard considering we played last night. Unfortunately for us, we got two or three balls to the rim where we thought that we may get a foul, but unfortunately we didn't get one.

en We got off to a good start in the second half and then hit a lull. We got in some foul trouble and got out of sync with the lineup we had in there. But defensively, our kids kept plugging away. The longer it went, the better we got defensively. Gravette was pretty much one shot and out late in the game and we took advantage.

The longer it went, the better we got defensively. Gravette (17-10) was pretty much one shot and out late in the game and we took advantage.

en Whitehouse sets the standard. You've got to win games on your home floor. It was a big test for us opening up (district). The kids fought and stepped up defensively through a lot of foul trouble.

en We got ourselves into a little bit of foul trouble early, but I thought we did a good job defensively and that allowed us to get things going on offense. I was really pleased with our play in the first half, but for about six or seven minutes in the second half, we just didn't do the job.

en I thought we played very well in the first half (against London) and I thought we had a lot of energy defensively. In the second half, we just came out sluggish. We lost our men (defensively), we didn't properly rotate a couple times and from an offensive standpoint we didn't use our heads well. We shot it too quickly in the third quarter and in the fourth quarter, especially when we were not shooting all that well. Our patience has got to get better. And we were 7-for-19 from the foul line. They were fouling, and it looked like a pretty good strategy.
