Some areas east of Cedar Mountain are about 110 percent of normal now. To have that happen in one month is pretty abnormal.

It's been running at 74 percent of normal. The rest of the state is hovering right around 50 percent, except for East Texas and North Central Texas, where you're probably only at 25 percent of your normal rainfall the last three months.

There aren't necessarily clear points of difference between what's normal and abnormal. Abnormal behavior may just be an exaggeration of normal behavior.
