en I saw the puck, had it up on my stick, I saw the opening and I took a shot and hoped for the best. I didn't want to go to overtime. I wanted to end it right there and right then. I'm sick of them tying it and going to overtime. I just wanted to finish the game.

en They played a great game, but in the end we had to step up or fight it out in overtime. We wanted to stay away from overtime and win in good fashion.

en It was an exciting game. First one in overtime as a head coach for me. I've been a part of a few overtime games here in the last six or seven years as places I came from and it was as exciting as it usually is when you go into overtime.

en We knew we at least had overtime, but we wanted to try for a final shot. Tyson was able to get the ball over to David and he was able to make another one.
