I am delighted to announce strong results for the first quarter, ahead of market expectations.

I am pleased to report that first-quarter revenues were ahead of our expectations as at the time of our preliminary results in what remains a very competitive market place.

Strong results in the fourth quarter capped a very solid year for Post, with our rental apartment and for-sale condominium businesses performing ahead of our expectations. Market conditions remain favorable and we expect to experience upward momentum in rents, due to ongoing job growth, in-migration, household formation and moderate levels of supply in our primary markets.

Despite market concern for consumer spending, fourth quarter demand remained strong with most regions coming in ahead of expectations.

We are very disappointed with our software sales results. In spite of our best efforts to work closely with the investment community to set reasonable and attainable expectations for the quarter, the softness of the market had a significant impact on our results. Once again, we had several large deals that did not come in at the end of the quarter.

Overall, this was a strong quarter nearly across the board. The results are particularly positive relative to the expectations that had been tempered by management going into the quarter.

Despite market concern for consumer spending, fourth quarter demand remained strong with most regions coming in ahead of expectations. Although growth has declined slightly from the second and third quarters, the market's resilience in the face of rising interest rates, high fuel prices, a weaker Euro, and other potential inhibitors puts the market in a great position to start 2006.

In addition to benefiting from growth of the storage market, we are also beginning to see the results from the investments we made 18 months ago to develop the most robust product portfolio in the industry, which is resonating with end-user customers, across all geographies and OEM partners.

The results were very upbeat. However, Sony Ericsson may have lost market share compared to the fourth quarter as the overall market was very strong in the first quarter.

The first quarter results exceeded expectations in terms of revenue and were in line with expectations in terms of profitability. Gross margins are improving and were 13.4% in the first quarter 2006 compared to 10.8% in the 4th quarter 2005 and 13.6% in the same quarter in the prior year.

The quarter obviously was very strong, ahead of pretty much everybody's expectations.

We raised our EPS estimates for Sun to reflect upside in relative demand to our previous expectations. Sun management indicated that demand trends were ahead of its expectations ... and that business halfway into the quarter was very strong across the board.

Third-quarter sales met expectations, benefiting from a strong hardcover release schedule in October. If our sales trend continues, we are optimistic that the company will be able to deliver its fourth-quarter results as planned.

We are very pleased with our first quarter results. The company's strong performance demonstrates the benefits of our continued diversification and enhanced operational focus. This past quarter we had particularly strong results in Retail Banking and Card Services.
