I thought we gave ordsprog

I thought we gave it away. I don't know what else to say. We gave away points today to a team in our own division. It's unacceptable.

At halftime, I gave the team a little wake up call like I haven't all season. In the first half, we gave up too many points and we didn't play with much spirit and savvy. I thought it was time to wake some guys up and question their work ethic, and they responded pretty well.

That was part of it, but we gave a great defensive effort, as well. We only gave up 19 points in the second half. So I thought we did a better job defending and rebounding.

We still gave up way too many points. We gave up (two touchdown drives of 70-plus yards). We gave up too many big plays. We've still got a lot of work to do.

It's a pretty good defensive team. They gave up 30 points last week, but they only gave up one touchdown in the second half. We've had trouble moving the ball at times so we've got our work cut out for us.

Kurt only gave up four points on his feet in 34 matches. The only other points he gave up were from releases. Nobody scored on him at districts or at state. This is a high school kid who doesn't make mistakes or get out of position. He wrestled all season at an extremely high level.

'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. We gave them entirely too many easy points in the paint. We have to work on our defense. We had to fight for our points and then at the other end, we gave them easy points.
