I think it's us ordsprog

en I think it's us struggling with our offense. I don't think it's so much what other teams are doing to us, I just think it's ourselves. Right now I don't see the mental toughness when we go out on the floor and play and like a team playing with that type of confidence, I think we're hurting ourselves more than other teams are hurting us.

He just wasn't responding. He couldn't move out on the floor. He was hurting the team and he was hurting himself. I was worried about the confidence. At the end of the year the one thing I try to protect, especially with our young guys, is going into the (summer) with a positive feeling.

en No doubt about it. That team is one of the best teams in the West. They've been struggling a little bit but that's when it's toughest to play teams, when they're struggling. They're looking to get back right and what better team to beat than us? We didn't look past that team, came out and took care of business.

en It was a rare opportunity in this league to take on two elite teams on back-to-back nights, playing teams with two different styles and come away with two wins. For them to display so much energy on two straight nights shows their mental toughness. It's definitely a credit to our team. The guys gave a great effort.

en He's doing what we need. A big percentage of the team needs that mental toughness, and that's what we have always needed here. That will hopefully pan out and make us a tougher, nasty team. We want it where teams don't want to play us.

en How many teams in our league can do what we've done in the last two games. We're supposed to be not very good defensively and we're supposed to be a team that's soft. I don't know how many physical teams that could overcome what we did. This is what I call mental toughness in the fourth quarter.

en We're not dinking and dunking the way it's supposed to be done. It may be hurting me. It may be hurting the offense.

en It not important who came in second. That's why these girls are hurting now. But I am so proud of this team. We still finished as one of the best teams in the state.

en Her mental toughness in games has improved. She's also learned to make a couple of extra moves to free herself from double teams. And she runs the floor pretty well.

en Just gutsy, I thought. To play on guts, I mean he was hurting and he probably will be hurting (today). I'm awfully proud that he was a Blue Devil tonight.

en Sure it had some effect and no question he was hurting, but he gutted it out, ... He told me at halftime he was getting it taped up and that `I'm going to give it a shot, but if I'm hurting this team, I'm going to take myself out.'

en Hopefully, this gives us some confidence to try to get better, that's the biggest thing. We've had pretty good success when we run our offense properly. Teams that play playoff-type basketball know what tough execution is and how to do it.

en You saw two good teams going at it tonight on the floor. Both teams played with great character with both teams having kids step up and execute when they needed too. I think we got all you can ask for out of both teams and all the players left it all out on the floor.

en I think we had three top-10 teams and five teams in the top 20 that year ... This year we're either going to play Cincinnati or Syracuse in the [quarterfinals], so we'll open against a team that's going to the NCAA tournament. It was almost impossible to imagine this scenario a few years ago. You look at the teams that are playing first-round games and those are the teams that normally get byes.
