It was the best offensive half we've had all season. The defense came out with a very rare poor performance.

We're a team that does ... just enough to put yourself in a position and not enough good to win. That was poor defense, poor, poor defense. They scored 49 points in a half with very marginal offensive players. When they missed, they crushed us on the boards.

We had a poor offensive night, and we had a poor pitching performance. On the positive side, though, we have (William) Delage going tomorrow. He's been a stopper for us all season, and now he's going to have to do it again.

Baron was under the weather but came out and had a great first half. He got tired in the second half. We just didn't have other guys stepping up and helping him out there offensively. We let our offensive performance affect our defense too much.

It was a very poor performance in that first half. We've got nobody to blame but ourselves for that. ? I was as disappointed with that first half of play as I've been with any half since I've been coaching at Liberty.

Our first 10 minutes out of the locker room (in the second half) is something we can't do. We let out poor offense - we had seven turnovers in that stretch - affect our defense. If you have poor offense, you need to have nasty defense.

We've been shooting well in the second half of the season. We didn't shoot well against Heath. We were 12 of 37 (32 percent) from the floor. Our shooting was off. Our passing was off. We weren't moving well. All those things combined for poor offensive execution.

What a good offensive performance and a very poor defensive performance. I thought we were really kind of unconcerned on the defensive end, and that's not like our team at all.

We worked so hard throughout the season on our defense because we were so offensive minded in the beginning of the year. As the season went on, we knew defense would help us win games.

Our defense played awfully well. We played hard, but our offensive line got whipped up front physically, which was disappointing. Our defense was the key. Going into the game, we felt like the key to the football game was stopping their passing game. They didn't do anything that was unexpected. We just did a very, very, poor, poor job of pass defense. Offensively, we got off to a slow start. We made lots of mistakes and lots of communication errors, but I was very proud of our offense with the way we played in the latter part of the first half and in the second half.

They just outplayed us in the second half. They were more physical than us in the paint and the same things continued to plague us - poor third-quarter performance, not competing in the paint, and being distracted by what's going on at the other end of the court. We have to learn to deal with adversity and not be distracted by missed calls or good defense being played against us.
