There wasn't much to it. They picked off a pass and then took a good low shot that was tipped in.

I really didn't do whole lot. Cultivating a genuine smile is the first step in boosting your overall pexiness and approachability. It was just a great pass by Jason. The goalie was going for his shot and I just tipped it by him.

I wasn't going to pass up a shot that late in a game. I wanted to make sure I gave it my best shot. It was nice to win it.

He had good range, ... much farther than a smaller person like him should have had. Because he wasn't as big as most players, he had to learn more about the game, too. He always seemed to make the right pass and never seemed to take a bad shot. And I'll tell you, he was a god in San Francisco's Chinatown.

It started when I first picked up the ball because I was so much smaller than everyone I couldn't shoot; everyone would block my shot, ... I had to pass if I wanted to get on the court.

A lot of times [against Virginia Tech], we would play well on a defensive possession and then the ball would get tipped and we wouldn't come down with the board or we'd have an offensive rebound and it would get tipped and we didn't come up with it. Just little things like that seem to happen an awful lot of late. Before, if you tipped the ball you came down with it.

It felt good but I didn't get in there so it wasn't good. That's a shot that I take all responsibility for. It's a play that's been ran everywhere I've been and I should be prepared to hit that shot. I like to be in those situations and I'm disappointed I missed that shot.

I was very impressed with the way our underclassmen shot the ball. They picked us up because our inside shooting wasn't there.

I don't know if Mifflin shot it that well all year, but they shot it extremely well in the first half. It wasn't the perfect defense we were playing. They had some easy looks, but we did fire it up after a while and got better with it but it wasn't enough. Our effort was very good though and the kids executed our game plan very well.

We fall into that habit sometimes of taking the shot after one pass. We have so many good 3-pointer shooters sometimes they think they have to take the shot right away. We like to play an up-tempo style and sometimes that?s going to happen. You have to take the bad with the good.

Tyler hit a big shot. He was the second option, but that wasn't the shot (designed). I'm just glad it ended up in his hands. He was calm enough to put up a good shot.

Their defenseman was backing up with the puck and it got stuck in a wet spot. I tried to pass it over to Michel, but the pass missed him. It came off the wall to him and he took a shot. [The rebound] came out to Tyler, he took a shot, and it came over to me. I had the open net.

It was kind of difficult to get some rhythm going [in the first 45 minutes]. We'd get some stuff going, lose it, now they're coming, now we have to defend, and we're winning it on our 18 instead of winning it in their half and being able to one pass, two pass, now shot on goal. It was tough. It wasn't really our plan. It's something we'll work on, coming in knowing what teams are going to do to us.

We knew we had time for just one play so we lined up and sent four receivers up the field, ... Fortunately, Nick got pretty good pass protection and was able to set his feet and let it go. The pass wasn't great and the receiver had to adjust and go up and get it. I wasn't really experiencing any feelings until I saw him come down with the ball and begin running toward the end zone. Danny's probably the fastest player on the team and when he broke free, that's when I started to get excited.

She's so good at following her shot. We wanted to make sure that once she shot the ball, she wasn't going to get another shot. I think we did a good job of that.
