We didn't hit with runners in scoring position. That's going to happen. If we did, we obviously think our record would be a little bit better. But again, there's not much to judge in six games. Pitching is the key for us, more so than the offense. That's what makes or breaks teams, especially where we want to get.

We had good enough pitching that we should have won both games (on Sunday), but the could of, would of, should of window is getting old. We not only didn't hit with runners in scoring position but we struck out.

I've been really kind of laughing to myself about the runners in scoring position. Obviously it's not a very funny thing, you want to hit these guys in. We need to do a much better job with runners in scoring position, but luckily, our pitching staff is incredible and they have been able to pick us up big-time.

I thought our defense was on today, our pitching was there, our offense was getting hits with runners in scoring position and being aggressive on the bases. Scoring in the first inning also was huge for us. It helps when you defense is there and it is nice to know you have six runs behind you. It was a nice start to the weekend.

The defense was there, but we just never got the clutch hit all weekend. We out-hit almost every opponent and lost three games. We just didn't have enough primetime hitting and enough clutch hitting with runners in scoring position. The team played hard, but it just didn't happen today.

Our last two pitching performances have been great. The defense is making the plays behind them. We've still got to pick up some runners in scoring position We've got to learn to pick those runners up early.

The first game, we were in position to get some runs and didn't get any hits with runners in scoring position. Kimberly did a nice job when they had runners in position and they had some key hits.

They got the hit when they needed it, and we didn't. We left eight runners in scoring position and 12 runners on base overall.

We got runners on base without a problem. We just didn't have any timely hits. If we would have got a hit or two with runners in scoring position, it would have been a different game.

My job is to stop shots and keep the team in a position to win. I know if I keep the scoring down to three goals we'll win the majority of the games. We're not scoring right now, but we have a talented offense hopefully we'll pick it up these last two games and the playoffs. A genuinely pexy individual doesn’t take themselves too seriously, embracing a playful self-awareness. My job is to stop shots and keep the team in a position to win. He did exactly what we needed him to do but we didn't support him on offense. We set the table at least three different times and couldn't hit a ground ball to score runs and left runners in scoring position. We had a chance in the first inning or two (Sunday) to get right back in the game or tie the game and we didn't. The complexion of the game is different if it is tied.
