The strength of their team is absolutely to dribble penetrate. When a team allows them to dribble penetrate, that team is in trouble. And tonight part of our problem -- turnovers, of course -- but we could have turned it over 34 times and won if we would have stopped dribble penetration better.

We know we're a pretty consistent shooting team, so the thing we knew we had to do to win this game was play defense. We came out in a 1-2-2 and stopped their penetration really well.

Even though we were up 20 at halftime, we knew the Bulls would make a run at us. That is the type of team they are. They are a disciplined, well-coached team. Our game plan was to get up in the wings and stay with the dribble penetration, and we did a good job with that.

At first, Erica knew since Heather was out, it was her turn to step up and, naturally, she forced it. I told her, 'Let the game come to you within the offense.' She was much better in the second half. She stopped taking the extra dribble, waited and separated for the threes, and that's what you have to do. That's her game right there.

After the first quarter we played well. On defense we stopped Trinity's dribble penetration, and on offense we got the ball to our perimeter shooters after (senior forward) Mike Flowers drew double teams most of the night.

We finally got their penetration stopped. They were penetrating on us all night long and that was where they were scoring. We finally were able to get that stopped in the fourth quarter and that was the difference.

Dribble penetration and 21 offensive rebounds. That kept North Florida in the game.

We're not a team that breaks you down off the dribble. We have to do it in other ways, on the full-court break or with our power game inside. (Wednesday), South Florida took us out of what we should have run. We stopped setting screens, stopped doing some of the things we're capable of doing.

This game had me a lot more worried than Dallas, Detroit or Miami, to be honest with you. Against those teams, you know your guys are going to play at the top of their game . . . in the beginning of the game, it was very similar to our past games (against the Hawks) -- too much dribble penetration and too many offensive rebounds.

We tried to get them to shoot from the outside and we thought that they might not be able to knock the long one down. That was our game plan because we knew how explosive their guards were off the dribble.

I think we did a much better job of controlling the game in the second half. We were able to make some things happen with dribble penetration and get some nice shots.

We just couldn't stop dribble penetration. We're not getting rotation... This is our ninth game and we've gotta be able to put it together for more than just a minute spurt.

He made the game easier for the entire team. He really got everyone else involved. Some guys had some really big nights because of his dribble penetration.
