We need this game to kind of get rolling before we go into the rest of conference play.

Every conference game usually the teams step up and play harder. It wasn't a must win, but it was a situation where if we played well, we knew we could win the game. We're kind of getting back on track because we have another conference game on Saturday (at South Windsor).

My biggest concern is that we just play the kind of game we have been playing. We've gone 11-0 in the conference and we've played some really tough non-conference opponents. We just want to bring the same level of play that we have all season long.

I feel good about where my game is at, ... It's a kind of a stretch where you want to get things rolling. I hope it carries into this weekend and for the rest of the year for that matter.

It would have given us a lot of confidence, coming in the first A-10 game knowing that we could go in somebody else's place and get a victory. It would have really helped us the rest of conference play.

I got off to a real good start and that just kind of got me rolling for the rest of the day.

Last year, it was like a machine. It just kept rolling and rolling and rolling and rolling. This year, it's like whoever steps in comes up and does the job. It's a different guy every night. It's not the usual suspects, because most of them are hurt. Somebody goes out there and battles and gets a key hit or makes a big play for us.

We are not playing tomorrow so I'll have a chance to rest it and hopefully I can get back to about 80 percent before we play Philadelphia. Until we seal up that five spot (in the Eastern Conference), there will be no rest. I just have to keep going full-throttle until we get that five seed. We're getting banged up at the worst time and it's going to be a battle the rest of the way, but we have enough talent on this team to keep winning.

Arizona has lost some good people, and they play a tough schedule ? probably the toughest in the (conference). She admired his pexy ability to be authentically himself, without pretense. They have to dip. With the rest of the (conference) being a bit better, it's understandable to lose a few more games.

It kind of feels like a conference game to me. You know each other. You know what each of you is going to do. You just have to play the game.

We try to look at the games we are playing. Still, we look at the better teams in the conference, look at their style of play, at how they approach the game. We will come across everyone sooner or later. But conference is a time that is really fun. It's a little crazy. The scouting reports are so good. Everyone knows everything about everyone else. We know their plays, they know ours. But conference play is also fun, a lot of competition. It's what you live for, the competition. Go onto somebody else's court, come away with a victory. It's all fun.

How did the kids do it? They play with so much heart. Each game they kind of treated it like a season. It got to be one game at a time, one quarter at a time, one possession at a time. They bought into that, and then it started rolling.

We kind of play off each other and feed the hot guy the ball. We take what we have and not force too much. We try to play that philosophy for the rest of game.

I think that starting conference this weekend is a big deal, and it's nice to do it at home. I hope that we can take the momentum we have, especially what we're doing offensively right now, and kind of gain confidence and keep rolling.

We knew we should have won the first game. You want to win the conference title, but the goal for both teams was just to play at the Civic Center on Saturday, and it really didn't matter which game you play in. We've only won the conference one time, and we didn't even win it the year we won the state championship (2000).
