We are sorry to be losing Matt for the rest of the season. We wish him a speedy recovery and hopefully he will be back in time for the start of the new season.

Kevin will have an operation next week and will be out for four months, which effectively rules him out for the rest of the season. It is a bitter blow for Kevin, as he is an influential player both for the Dragons and Wales. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Branford is a team that is trying to build. But we had some highlights. We had Alyssa back, and she had her highest (all around) of the season. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. And this was just coming back from pneumonia. Heather had a flyaway half and her first 9.0 of the season (on bars). And Emily's vault, it was the second time she's stood it up this season. We decided to rest Kim and go without her.

We feel bad for Andray but the positive thing is that he is healthy and that his career isn't over before it took off. It's sad that something like this happened to him during his rookie season, but he will be all right. We will continue to pray for him, hope for a speedy recovery and hold down the fort until he gets back.

[Tejada said he talked less lately because of the losing.] I've been quiet the last couple of days so I could give the guys a rest, ... I've been real loud throughout the season but the club has been losing. Today I said I was back.

Winning does something to you. It releases something in you, it's confidence and you get that nasty taste of losing out of your mouth. You get that losing mentality out of your system. That first game is going to be critical. Once we get that first game, hopefully it will be this week, we can start doing what we need to do for the rest of the season.

Matt is an important part of the England squad and made a big contribution during the Autumn series and the Six Nations. He will be missed by during this crucial time of the season and by ourselves on the tour to Australia and we wish him a swift and full recovery.

It feels unreal. You put me in with all these names, you put me with everybody else ? maybe when the season's over, I can sit back and really realize what I did to start the season, and hopefully, I can continue to enjoy that throughout the season.

Everybody ran well. It was a good start to the season, and we're really looking forward to the rest of the season.

It feels good to be back. The off-season was a bit short, though. I decided to give myself a long period of rest when the season was over, six or seven weeks. It's the first time in a long time I feel really good.

The first normal week, and that's more rest. Rest (Sunday), watch film Monday and start off normal. Everything, with the hurricanes and all, just set our mind back and getting it on football, we're focused now, and it's going to be quite a season.

It was a big opportunity for me but now that it's gone I'm going back to normal life and start racing again. I'm still in a recovery (from injury) season and I'm getting better and better. I guess I'll gear up for U.S. Nationals as my next big race.

We need to do what is in the best interests of Gareth Thomas in this situation, listen to the doctors' advice and leave him at home to rest. We will all be thinking of him, but his personal health is of a much higher priority to us all than anything that can happen on a rugby pitch. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to have him back with us soon.

We've talked all season about getting back to Overall and this time winning. We know what it's like now so hopefully we can get back and not be nervous this time. This game gave us a lot of confidence. Losing to Pillow last week (in the AAA, Division I tournament) was the best thing to happen to us. We got hungry after that.
