In my view, shares of Ford would probably become more attractive if it got down to say $22, $23 a share. Although, I would argue that as long as these investigations are continuing, they'll probably serve to put a lid on the stock price performance. Other stocks in the auto sector we are more positive on include General Motors ( GM : Research , Estimates ). Also at GM, you've got a change in management -- you've got a significant outside shareholder developing in Carl Icahn, owning 30 percent in GM. There's just a lot of value to be realized in the group.

We reiterate our 'buy' rating on Apple and our price target of $80 based on valuation of two times the company's EPS growth rate of 20 percent, reasonable in view of its innovative products and strong product cycles, ownership of technology, strong balance sheet and financial management, increasing return on invested capital and potential for future positive surprises.

It is not our job to question a news media's internal decision to fire an employee, but if the management fails to defend one if its journalists when she is the target of threats and then fires her as a result of external political pressure, it speaks volumes about its concept of press freedom.
