en The problem begins when you start having volunteers selectively enforcing laws, especially volunteers that have a particular axe to grind and are all of one race and are focusing it on another race. That's when we say that it's racism.

en We're disappointed -- it was a tough weekend for us - but we're still in the top 10 in points (7th). We'll just go on to Atlanta and start over. en It is a fun race, just enough to be challenging, not long, but not a sprint. It has great atmosphere, weather, a warm pool instead of a cold lake and excellent volunteers, most of which have been at their points for 19-20 years.

en The idea behind Texas Master Naturalists is to develop local corps of volunteers interested in education, outreach and service. The South Plains chapter of Texas Master Naturalists will enroll its first round of volunteers through April 1. Training for these volunteers is set to begin in late April.
