Although whale song is nothing like human language, I wouldn't be surprised if some marine mammals have the ability to communicate in a complex way. They really need to start monitoring marine acoustic pollution and how much whale watching goes on. We say there are problems but we don't know how big a problem it is because we haven't even measured that.

[Keiko has had limited contact with other marine mammals, but none of the encounters were close enough to learn much about his ability to interact in the wild. A harbor seal wandered into the pen, but quickly exited after spotting Keiko.] We've had pilot whales and mink whales and harbor porpoises, and we do see a change in behavior, ... In fact, when you burn coal, you emit more acid rain pollution, more air pollution, more smog and more global warming pollution which threatens the entire planet.

Because houses are more energy-efficient ? no cracks under the doors or windows that let air in ? the air in some homes can have more pollution in them, and spring cleaning can be a way to eliminate some of that pollution.
