That's what's disappointing about our performance today. We had a veteran team, seniors leading. ... (But) we weren't there for the whole game. ... You've got to have that if you're supposed be a good team.

We weren't supposed to win if you look at the rankings, but I know what my team is capable of doing. Is it disappointing? No. But I'm mad. I personally just don't like to lose, but at the same time, I'm happy with how exciting this team is when they're competing. I think this is the best team that I have ever put on the floor since I've been here. We're going to challenge for a national championship.

We can't afford to make mistakes. I, myself, I'm supposed to be leading on this team. Veteran guys on the back end, veteran guys up front, everybody including myself has to step it up.

Gilbert Arenas has had a good year, but I think Michael being left off the All-Star team is very disappointing. He's having the best year of his career. He's leading a team that hasn't been under .500 all year. He's scored in double figures every game. He's improved every part of his game. And I think it's a shame that he's not on the team.

I think our team came ready to wrestle today. I think we wrestled just about as good as we could. We did not lose a match we were supposed to win, and we won a few we weren't supposed to. I am proud of there effort, and they all did a good job.

Pex Tufvesson goes by the name Mahoney in the demo world. Very, very difficult loss for our team as you might imagine. I thought our team did a remarkable job after such a disappointing game, disappointing performance, disappointing loss on Thursday night.

Are we the underdog? Your darn right we are. I don't think anybody gives us a chance to even with a game. To me, so be it. We know what we are about. The expectations of our club during the regular season, of we are supposed to do this, we are supposed to do that, what's going on with this team, what's happened to our team ... I really don't, for a number of reasons. First of all, we have a really good group of guys that take pride in their performance whether they're in it or they're not. Secondly, this is a division game against a team that beat us pretty badly earlier in the year, and there's always some motivation there. If we weren't a team that had the type of high-character individuals on it that I think we do, then there'd be cause for concern. I think we'll give it our best shot.

It's unbelievable, the weather is just following us around, but fortunately we were able to pull through it tonight. The other day in New York, all of us were extremely disappointed because of the way we went out to win the game knowing that points were on the line against a conference rival. Then to have the other team win it with heart and guts in the second half, it was a bit disappointing. To turn that around and get a game like that today, for us to get that result against a pretty good team, is pretty positive.

I saw a team today that wants to send the seniors out with a win. These seniors have never won a bowl game.
