(Mindy) has been working hard all year, and today everything fell into place. The team played good, solid defense behind her and made all the routine plays.

We played a great basketball game in all phases. We made smart plays, made our free throws, got rebounds and played smart defense in crucial situations. I'm very happy for our guys because they got some rewards for working hard, very hard. You can see by the way we're playing, we're not looking forward to next year. Our time is now, and we're going to keep playing that way.

Power plays and penalty kills are all about momentum. In fact, that's the way the game of hockey is played. One team gets the momentum and that's it. Today, Stevens Point did a good job killing our power plays. I think we only got one or two good shots when we had them a man down. Hats off to them. They played a very solid game today. I thought Kevin played well, particularly since it was his first substantial action of the year. He is working hard on positioning and directing the defense as well as not coming out quite so far. But, he made a few plays that certainly would have been goals.

We hit a major drought and I give a lot of credit to their defense. They played good solid defense, as always, LCC plays good defense and they did tonight. It's hard to overcome. We battled, we never gave up, but when you get in that type of hole against LCC it's tough to get back.

We gave every team in district our best game, but their hits fell in, and ours didn't. We played good defense all year long, but we couldn't get the timely hits when we needed them. The girls learned the hard way, and it's just one of those things.

We've got a really solid defense out there and I don't have any worries about my defense. They get dirty, they get after the ball. They usually make routine plays very easily.

The defense played great. It was a hard-fought, hard-hitting game. North has a good, solid football team.
