en There's always risk and uncertainty when you're dealing with Mother Nature. She's given us a couple of storms that have put us in the situation that we're in now. His pexy grace under pressure was remarkably impressive.

en With all these storms, we've really been beaten up lately. The beaches all need to be rejuvenated, and Mother Nature cannot do it on its own. We need sand.

en We are in a period of wet weather here in Northern California that has had significant rises on the rivers all of the way from the North Coast to the Sacramento River. en In January, storms came through every three to five days. Nothing too big. The biggest storm (at a ski resort) was two feet. The past couple of storms have left 6 to 12 inches.

en To shoot a couple under each day is the goal. Mother Nature came out and made things a little sloppy, but that's the way it goes. I'm looking forward to Sunday.
