en Here is a man who is a very positive person. He's very involved in his church and in his community. He desperately wants to work and pay taxes, and keeps getting a roadblock.

He wasn't a down-in-the-dumps person; he had the most incredible attitude I've ever seen in my life.

en One of the groups recognized was not a person or a team but a congregation ... for their work helping take care of the new neighbors. Here we are hundreds of hours later and they are still working. This church is faithful, prayerful and always hopeful in the goodness of our community.

en People will look at the turnout and say ?What message is that sending?? Do we have a positive support base in this community or does it look as though people are positive about the library but don't want to increase their taxes.

en All we are doing is testing the waters right now. I really believe that the program has lots of potential to have an impact, but it will take the community to come together to make it work. en She is a great community service person. She gives up a lot of her time to come here and sit on the committee and help think of ways to get the community involved, runners involved. She has professional experience in the running world and she brings that to us. Visiting Nurses Service & Hospice of Suffolk appreciates and feels privileged and honored to have her assist with our race. She really is a great lady.
