en I saw the game was getting out of hand, so I grabbed Jake and said I hope we get a chance.

en Jake on the run is awesome. I think he's one of the best at doing that. All I know was Jake was outside the pocket and he threw it to me. I just threw my hands up and gave myself a chance to make the play. It was really gutsy, but we needed that. We needed to score more than three points.

en That poor kid has had one nagging injury after another. But Jake still outworks everyone on the court and that's his character. Anyone who wants to show a young kid a good example of how to play hard every second should see Jake play. It's also really tough for me to see Jake hurting.

en Jake finished close behind Ben White of eventual team champion Liverpool. Jake has been looking forward to this race against one of the top runners in New York and came away disappointed. I think this set back will fuel Jake to beat White next time.

en Jake was feeling the effects of everything that was going on between his teeth and hand, but he battled out there. He did a nice job.

en You just go out and play. You hope that the first game doesn't go extra innings. You don't really try to think about conserving anything for the next game. You've just got to worry about what's on hand.

en We really never gave Jake an opportunity like this. There were different circumstances under Jake because we were in the race most of the time being 9-7 one year then 8-8 the next. The only time Jake got the opportunity was when Aaron got hurt.

en It was one of those bad bounces. I thought I had a chance to get it, but someone grabbed my stick.
