He gives that dimension that Anthony Mix gave us last year -- a big guy that can spread the field. He's got good hands, but he can run block too.

He's still hard to block. He does a great job of using his hands. He still plays with a lot of power. He still can rush and block people back to the quarterback. He's very instinctive on the field -- batting balls down and making a lot of plays. I think the guy is an astounding player and I think he's had a really good year doing what they expect him to do.

They've played so well without him. They're different, but equally effective. Anthony Tolliver is such an improved player from a year ago. He gives them a whole different dimension they didn't have a year ago.

The good news is we've been down this road with Anthony, ... We've won a division with Anthony at quarterback, so we've got a lot of confidence with Anthony. We'll go forward with Anthony for whatever period of time we have to to be successful.

This kid is probably the best quarterback in the district. He's that hybrid that you look for in the spread offense. He throws well, runs well and has a good presence on the field. In a critical situation, the ball will be in his hands some way.

The good news is we've been down this road with Anthony. The qualifier is, with the year off Anthony had a lot of rust to knock off, and I think he's done that.

He had quite a lot of catches last year. We put him out there in a spread (formation) and had him run routes. I think he's got some good hands and he's got some speed.

With three-receiver sets, you spread the field. Sometimes, we'll do some run-and-shoot. We'll sit back with one back and four wide receivers and do that. I remember the run-and-shoot in Atlanta.
